Book Summary - Hooked by Emily McIntire

In this episode of Literature on the Rocks

The girls take a spicy deep dive into Hooked by Emily McIntire, a dark romance with subtle (or not-so-subtle) nods to Peter Pan. We chat about all the clever references to the beloved fairy tale—though Rox missed every single one. We break down this unforgettable anti-hero story that gives Captain Hook a seductive new edge—complete with betrayal, passion, and smut that had all three of us very entertained. We also discuss some of the missing content from the audiobook—though the narrator's sexy voice definitely made up for it. Whether you love smut, anti-heroes, or fairy tale retellings, this deep dive will leave you hooked.
